Veterinary Technician Position

We are a busy, fast-paced, 5-doctor practice seeking an assistant with a can-do, positive attitude to join our amazing team! The right candidate will be a self-starter, have a GREAT work ethic, and have the ability to multi-task with a flexible mindset in our high-volume practice. With a full appointment schedule and surgeries 3-4 days per week, we are seeking someone who thrives on an ever-changing environment and who will view this as an excellent opportunity for growth and independence as your skills continue to develop within our clinic. Our family-like atmosphere and loyal clientele make us unique, and we are looking for a team-player who values team and client relationships like we do. BCVC has been named Best in Bergen and we practice fear-free techniques. Our progressive approach to medicine and 30-minute appointment times allow for many exciting and interesting cases.

Prefer a candidate with experience in the following, but willing to train the right person:

• Patient histories

• Assisting technicians

• Nail Trims

• Expressing Anal Glands

• Restraint

• Knowledge of Veterinary Software

• Knowledge of basic veterinary information and ability to educate clients

• Interviewing process will start with phone interviews so please make sure to include your availability in your cover letter/email. We are continuing curb side for most services but are allowing one client in for each doctor appointment as well as families in for Euthanasia.
